On Friday 29th May, we hosted a social event for children aged 10-14 years old at the arcade in Taunton town centre. Everyone had a lot of fun playing new and retro arcade games. They even managed to beat some of the nurses and support workers who went!! By having this event, lots of our children and young people made some new friends or seen some old friends they had previously met. There was even an area for the parents to sit, watch and have a chat to each other.

One parent’s feedback was positive saying ‘My child had a lovely time thank you and it was nice for me to chat to some other mums. Thank you so much for inviting us we really appreciate it.’

We would like to say a massive thank you to the Josh Evan Trust Fund for once again supporting this social and allowing people living with diabetes to have this opportunity. It is really appreciated by the staff at Musgrove but most importantly the families and children who are living with diabetes.
