

Josh
Joshua Edward Evans was born October 1987 at Musgrove Park Hospital weighing 6lb 10oz.
Josh was the only child of Tracy & John Evans and so spent a lot of time with his cousins and extended family.
In his spare time Josh played rugby, starting to play from toddler age, he was well and truly part of NPRFC. He also enjoyed his music, films, spending time with friends and family, and was always after the latest gadgets. He loved life and was a home bird.
Josh attended North Petherton Primary School followed by Heathfield Community School. Josh continued his studies at both Richard Huish and SCAT (Somerset College for Arts & Technology).
Josh worked at ASDA before joining NHS PCT as an IT Administrator.
Diabetes
Josh was experiencing extreme thirst and tiredness and so visited the GP and at the age of 11 was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.
Diabetes is a condition in which the pancreas is unable to regulate sugar levels using insulin. People diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes have the condition life long.
October 2008
On Friday 24th October 2008 just after 5pm Josh aged 21 was driving home from work in his Honda Civic along the A358 near Thornfalcon when he suffered a hypoglycaemic attack. Josh’s blood-sugar levels become dangerously low which caused Josh to lose consciousness and collide with a coach.
